Given the number of changes, I've labeled it experimental.

It's not a lot of changes, but it makes a fairly significant improvement in compilation speeds in Flex Builder.

I find for small changes in a large project, there's about a 25% speedup, but this varies greatly depending on what you're doing.

The 3.3.1 binaries were published on 20 April 2018.

There is no 3.3.1 convenience binary for Linux as all recent Flex and Flex JS SDK's support installation via Apache Ant and it was determined that Linux users preferred the Ant method over having to install Adobe AIR to install the SDK.

The Apache Flex® SDK Installer is an application that simplifies the download and installation of the Apache Flex® SDK and its (required) components.

It is aimed at anyone who wants to use the latest release of the Apache Flex SDK, but who might not necessarily be familiar with the tools and procedures required to compile the Apache Flex SDK from source code.

First go to url — Copy the content of frameworks and go to c:\program files\adobe\flex builder 3\sdks.4\frameworks and paste there and similarly copy the content of folder lib of extracted sdk and paste it in adobe\flex builder 3\sdks.4\lib\.

At Brightcove I've spent some time creating faster Flex 3 SDKs by merging some changes from the Flex 4 SDK.

This update is probably worth downloading and installing for all Flex users.
